Nestled on the eastern-facing slopes of Tolt Hill in Carnation, WA, this log cabin is home to the creative energies of Mo Pfister and Molly Jensen. We are friends who share the passion of being in the space of creative people. We enjoy photojournalism and unfolding the possibilities with fabrics. It is our intention to provide that opportunity to you.

Creative juices begin to flow with inspiring glimpses of the Cascade Mountains, deciduous and evergreen trees surrounding you, and local wildlife trailing through the backyard. Six quiet acres of woods and meadows are there for exploration. The spacious deck welcomes contemplation and the natural light inside warms the open work areas.

This authentic log cabin was built in 1985 and will meet a variety of needs. The Lodge is quiet, peaceful rental space that opens up a new world for the creative imagination. Writers, Scrap booker enthusiasts, quilters, painters, needle artists, corporate morale events, church groups, and groups of people who enjoy being in a creative space with their friends will find The Lodge inspiring.  We have even had people join us just to organize their files and pay bills.  They just want a quiet space to do it in. Some groups have a common craft or theme, while others come with a myriad of projects and stay with the intention of doing it together.  The Lodge is also the perfect place just to be! Bring an instructor and learn something new, or gather with a spiritual leader to bring deeper awareness to your life.  The Lodge is here to provide that space for you!
