ABOUT US
Mo and Molly are two fun, centered, creative geniuses who had a dream of bringing friends together to share, create and improve their daily life. We figured the best way to accomplish this was to open up a space and let you tap into your own potential!
Mo Pfister
I have a background in Special Education, I spent 15 years at Microsoft as a
Project Manager and am the mother of two amazing boys.
My passions are with fabrics and threads. I love silk embroidery,
quilting, wool felting, crochet and an opportunity to learn something new.
Please stay in our Lodge and teach me! I teach silk embroidery and would welcome a group that wanted to have an embroidery weekend!
On another interesting note, I am a Life's Path Guide as well as a Reiki and Avatar
Master. I can assist you in looking at your current creations and guide you to
achieve your hearts desire. A session rate is $100. Call me at
206-979-4932
I am also a facilitator of
The Sacred Feminine Course
Molly Jensen
While scrap booking one
weekend with her creative friend, Mo Pfister, the two got a wild hair that they
could provide a beautiful and relaxing venue. A couple months of research and
with the support and blessing of their husbands, The Lodge in the Valley of the
Moon came to fruition! Shortly after opening The Lodge, it became obvious that
the space was more than just a scrapbook retreat. The Lodge herself manifested
sacred gatherings, family reunions and Gal-Pal retreats, as well as creative and
educational venues that are being nurtured and grown through Molly and Mo.
Molly has spent 20+ years
working with other people’s children as an occupational therapist, pre-school
teacher & ski instructor, as well as being a mother of two amazing girls. As a
Certified Infant Massage Instructor, she enjoys supporting and nurturing new
families by teaching the art of communication through Infant Massage. Always on
the threshold of learning, she continues upon a path of self-education through
the Sacred Feminine and other professional classes.
Molly is passionate
about sustainable living and reducing Nature Deficit Disorder in children. She
and her husband are getting back into backpacking now that the girls are old
enough to haul their own packs. She also enjoys reading scientific research and
non-fiction (geek!), loves photography, photo journaling -traditional and
digital- and playing on the computer. She is also a Creative Memories
consultant.
